Christmas isn’t the only holiday that Americans are emptying out their wallets for. In 2018, Americans spent an estimated $9.1 billion on Halloween. One sweet but spooky night can get a bit pricey, especially if you’re getting costumes arranged for several family members.

To make Halloween a little bit easier and a little bit more fun, we’ve asked Siri for some fun Halloween costume ideas. We hope these ideas will spark some creativity in you to put together a costume while still staying within your budget. So, let’s ask Siri.

Siri, what should I be for Halloween?

“Dress up as a bird, take a selfie, and go as the Millennial Falcon.”

Like Siri’s suggestion? You might just want to check out some easy DIY ideas here. These simple household items will help make a costume that’s priced up to $40 on Amazon, much more affordable.

Siri, what else should I be for Halloween?

“You could put on surgeon scrubs, hold some instruments, and tell people you’re an operating system.”

This one isn’t too hard to create on your own, either. Amazon has a ton of surgeon scrub options, and if you’re a Prime member, this will come in handy for a last-minute party when you’re in need of expedited delivery.

Hmmm, Siri what could I be for Halloween?

“You could go as an eclipse. Just dress in black and stand in front of things.”

Perfect! No DIY instructions needed; we’re not sure you’ll find one easier than this - or less expensive.

A more creative spin on Siri's original suggestion.

Siri, what should I be for Halloween?

“Plankton.”

Maybe Siri wasn’t thinking along the lines of Plankton from Spongebob Squarepants, but if she was, Pinterest has got you covered. A green shirt, leggings, and antenna will do the trick for Plankton’s base. Then you can DIY his eye and you’re done!

Siri, what do you think I should be for Halloween?

“You could be a disembodied voice.”

Good one, Siri. Good one.
